    Drivetrain shakes

I havnt had this problam very long but my drivetrain has been shaking realy bad whenever i take off from a stop or revers...once im moveing faster then 5 mph it drives smooth, its really hard to get someone close under the car to look at it since the car has been lowerd..and to tell ya the truth this all started whenever i raced a mustang and my car started to wheelhop very bad..what could be the problam?

I had an '84 Z28 that once the trans mount broke it did the same as yours is doing. Look for that first it's an easy fix.

have you had your rear recentered??? with your car lowered you're going to keep having wheel hop untill you install LCA relocation brackets...

Should also get an adjustable panhard bar along with your lower control arm relocation brackets.

thats a good idea..I should also invest in some new shocks cuz im still rolling in the same stock ones...is it possible that the shaking could also be coming from the rearend or should i focus on the transmission mount?

if it's your trans mount you'll see your shifter visibly raise about an inch when you get on the gas a bit... you more than likely would hear several "bangs" under the car as well...

if you put a jack under your trans and jack it up you'll more than likely be able to see if the mount is torn or not... the mount is bolted through the sented of that cross member...

I had what seems like the same problem awhile ago. All 4 of my transmission crossmember bolts had backed out maybe a 1/4 of an inch. Blue loctite and a few minutes later it was fine. While you check your mount, check those. Actually get a wrench/socket on them though.
