    Drive by wire

Are all dbw wire the same meaning if I go to the boneyard and pull a drive by pedal from a truck that had a Lq4 6.0l it would work. I've read that you have to pull the pedal and the harness

Not sure of the answer, but I would think that matching the pedal to the T/B would be your best route. FWIW, my personal opinion is that DBW sucks - I'd rather have the T/B do what I tell it to do, not have an electronic brain substitute its interpretation of what it thinks I want the T/B to do.
