Door is coming apart

What up? Last night I went and looked at a jeep, when I opened my drivers side door it hit the fender. When i got home I looked at it with a flash light and sure enuf the door is separating. Its up front under the mirror almost al the way down the door (window to rocker panel) it appears the seamsealer has gave way. I by no means slam my doors. Anybody else have this problem? Anyknown way to do a at home repair?

yeah i've heard of it,guys at the body shop told me its very common.I think some nice 38 cal bullets should fix it to my liking.Dam gm really built some cheap azz scrap this time around.The 3d gens were very well built and very safe cars.Can you imagine getting hit in the door in a 4th gen? Unfortunately we didn't realize the doors were cheap fiberglass until a few months after we bought it and fell in love with how it drives.There are plenty of seam sealers on the market.Probably the best out there is what they install windshields with.Advance and others sell it.http://www3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/...er/output_html

if i'm not mistaken isnt that caused by bending the frame (no sfc)

I found out what was causing it... When the door is opened to far it hits (inside the fender) I went to an autobody store today they sold me some epoxy. that worked great til I opened the door to far
