    Does seafoam work?

Has anyone tried seafoam on your cars? I saw videos online and was wondering about it.

i used it on all the cars ive had and it worked great, i put it the oil, gas and spray the deep creep in the intake. the deep creep really smoothed out the idle on all of em, especially the LT1 i have wright now(it smoked for almost 5-6 min). just make sure you dont leave it in the oil to long its harsh on gaskets and rubber parts.

I did it on both my d/d and the wifes. Did almost nothing on my truck but her truck it raised gas mileage almost 2 mpg and made the idle better. I have yet to do it on the camaro.

i used it on all my cars. stuff works great. poured it right down the throat of an old caddy in the carb. stopped the deiseling and the rough idle. spit black crap out of the tail pipe. this stuff is good keep using it. oil, gas , and vaccum lines. keeps the old girl clean.

There's been negative feedback about using Seafoam in the oil.
    Read pajeff02's link.

If you're wanting to clean the insides of your engine, it's been recommended using this instead since it comtains no solvents like Seafoam.

Using seafoam in the fuel is ok from what I've read.

I saw this too but is it true? I have a 99' with about 107,000 and I would hate for something to go out on it gasket/ seal wise and is the reason I haven't done this myself. I put this in the gas tank but not in the crank or the brake booster part.

i used it once but was dissapointed, no smoke or anything when i did it, didn't even drop the revs at all. i'm kinda wondering where that stuff went and what it did, dumped it right down into the intake manifold..
