does anyone else have this problem?
hey,i have a 1998 t/a and i just fixed my auto trans and this problem has been around before i fixed my transmission, when im in my over drive gears and i let off the gas and try to get back in gear my car stays the same until i give it alot of gas and then i take off. no codes any help would be great

yea that make sense but it feels like its flooding then picks up. i was thinking like a coil or a injector but no codes so idk

id leave it unless you get a code, does the car seem to have less when she finally picks up?

no she has the same power just for that 5 seconds feels like im going no where

i dont think its a problem, if you werent getting the same power once she finally kicks then id say look into other things but otherwise i think its just the computer trying to keep the RPM and then finally downshifting

not the best description in the world...but i know this situation is hard to describe...but to me it sounds like your torque converter may be having a problem locking up

yea i started my car up today to go to work and right when i got out i herd this ticking and when i put it in gear sounded like rattling marbles,coming from the torque converter area hello new transmission,now i just gotta find a good one lol

Sounds like he's talking about the engine falling below the power curve and as the rpms reach where the engine makes power the car picks up.. Normal OD bogg @ highway speeds imho.. I'll bet it does'nt feel like this @ higher speeds? Just starts to pull nicely say over 60 mph?

thats the only time i get it is when im on the highway over 60 anything under im fine
