Unhappy Do I need t reset computer?

I melted a rear 02 extension. Wil the SES light go out after so many miles or do I reset the computer?

I would have to look up the fault code, but it may reset itself after a certain number of starts. Just stop by the 'Zone or wherever you bought the part and have them turn it off. Some of the sales people are a little iffy on resetting the SES light.

I'm not sure on how many miles it takes, but the computer will reset after a period of time. It just takes a while.

Going on a little cruise with a friend. Might reset its self by the time we're done. It won't hurt nothing driving with the ses light on will it? Switching extensions now.

Not at all. The rear O2's simply tell the PCM if the cats are working. No affect on fueling.
