Difficulty w/ driver window motor swap can’t figure out the exact position of motor.
I’ve drilled out this motor a few times both driver and pass. (Left the regulator in position each time) over the years so I didn’t sweat it previous swaps where easy because I remembered the position. I was wrong.
My memory retention is weak because I removed the motor 2 years ago when I started the new door swap basically haven’t been driving her for 2 years well maybe every 6 months anyway just not a fresh memory.
firebirdnation image must be incorrect like the wired connection is pointing to 2 O’clock
I hate to admit it but I fought this motor for over 2 hours had to relook at the images and every video I could problly a dozen, stopped counting research hours after 20, not to mention the shredded skin the exact position is kindof like one guy says reverse order the position was basically breezed over on every video an image.
Additionally the window is almost completely up.
firebirdnation image can't be the exact position purple door.
is the bottom mount correct I can get a bolt in this #1 bottom hole the hole directly above #1 this won’t line up enough the top of motor is leaning outward.or should the first bolt be the top bolt I need a third hand.
edit: which is hole #1 the lower hole.
shoebox has the motor almost parallel to the big door bar white door.
Thanks for any adviceLast edited by qwik219d9; 11-27-2019 at 04:30 AM.

research exhiding 30 hours I'm so hardup I stooped to the owners manual which is a decent 4600 page book kindof like a shop manual w/ test procedures however GM decides to publish 50 images of doors switchs an 3 of the motors position. none of which show the position
apparently the wired connection point to 7 o'clock.
I could pull the cover off other door if they are in same position.
