    Differences in Idling Speed?

I have noticed that stock for stock (as far as I know) My '94 Formula Idles MUCH more fast than my '94 Z28. Is this normal..or are these two cars supposed to have similar or the same idling speed. It worries me because the formula eats way more gas than the Z and I trying to figure out why. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

not really. i wouldn't worry about it. the lt1 and the ls1 are different engines ...as long as they arent idling at 1k+ you are fine...also are you talking about idling after op temp or before?

They both are around 100K on the clock and the Z is an auto. and the bird is a stick. We were attempting to replace the a/c compressor on the car and charge the system today and found that the PCM is fried. Partially. We can activate the compressor from the fuse manually, but it wont do it on it's own. All the wiring is good too. The bird idles actually about 1K so could the PCM also be causing my funny idle?
