i had a wheel speed sensor go bad in the front right wheel on my 2001 z28 the guy at the dealership told me i would have to replace the whole hub which just so happens to cost $400! i've been living with it so far, all it has done is disable the traction controll which is nice but it also disables my ABS which so far doesn't bother me. i don't want to spend 400 bucks fixing it and i know they got that damn sensor in there somehow i was wondering if i one at a salvage yard would i be able to swap it somehow any help would be appreciated

it's all integrated into one another. you might can get one from a junkyard lots cheaper. hope it works. really easy to swap. remove tire, remove brake caliper with bracket, remove rotor, remove hub bearing assembly. reinstall. should take about 30 minutes to one hour at most.

Did you check GMpartsdirect.com? I found most dealers in my area sell parts for 40-50% over MSRP!They are kinda slow but even with shipping they may save you some money.Also, once you know MSRP, you can call around and at least not get ripped paying OVER list price.
