    THE WS6 THAT COULD

Cutout Tripping SES Light and Sensors???

well my ws6 was acting weird. it dropped in idle like it wanted to die out and the SES light came on. Had it read at Autozone and it said Catalyst effciency bank 1, so i took it to GM and they had it for about an hour and said that the cutout was causing the sensors to trip??? i have never heard of this happeing??

I've had a cutout under the rear seat for years and it's never thrown a code. You capped it before bringing it in right? If you're only getting P0420 it's the cat. Sounds like they're looking for an excuse to void the warranty - you could try another dealer. A friend of mine had his replaced free and has a cutout.

Thats total bullcrap. I believe the cats are warrantied 8 years by federal law so take it back and have them replace at least that one cat if not both.

Like said above your cutout should not throw a code. Iv had mine for about a year and never close it and no problems. Just curious but where is your cutout located?
