    Crazy lights

ok, im new here and i just bought my first Camaro. its a 2002 Camaro SS LE with 43,105 miles, 6 speed and all stock, even to the SLP pipes.

this is the second day i've offically had it. yesterday (it was raining) i bought the car. drove it around, got some dinner and hung out with family. (because the A/C is not working in my house. wont be here till friday....bastards, anyway). drove home that night and the auto lights came at everything worked fine.

tonite, we drove it again and at dark the lights did not come on. only the fog lights. i checked all the fuses under the hood, even swapped out my HID and ballast on the drivers side and still nothing.

then, an hour later, after searching like a mad man on the net. i when to check and see if i could find the relay for the headlights and maybe switch it for another to see if that was the problem, but the lights work now.

an hour later all the lights work? any ideas?

sorry for the long as first post.

Chances are you had a loose fuse or relay and while you were searching around you made the connection tight again.
If its not broke ya cant fix it, if it happens again post up and well go from there.
Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the party

would the relays or fuses being hot matter? only ask because the only thing that changed to get them working again is the temp.

Heat will make a relay malfunction but not a fuse. A fuse will blow.
High resistance will also cause a relay to get hot and malfunction, Ie Short somewhere, loose connections, wrong guage wiring etc etc.
