Connecticut shops specializing in F-bodies/LS1?
Does anyone know of any shops that specialize in our cars? Preferably with a Dyno.
If there aren't any, can any recommend somewhere with a dyno?

Where abouts in CT are you? I know of a shop in Manchester and one in Wallingford.

I'm in Newington, a few miles outside Hartford, so pretty much anywhere is equal distance.
What are the names of the places? Manchester and Wallingford are only about a 20 minute drive.

Manchester is J and M Corvettes, and the one in Wallingford is East Side Performance. I know the guys at J and M allright, almost bought a car from them, East Side I just drove by when I was a traveling insurance salesman. Had to stop and look at all the f-bods in their lot.

I personally wouldn't have anything done to / with my car at J&M, I've hear too many horror stories involving J&M.
I have heard good things about East Side Performance

East side has always seemed to have a good rep. I got my car dynoed there shortly after I got it in 02. They are a sponsor on Tech also. Also you should check out CTFBA.com contact The Chef.

rally red- 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS
Poppyn your all over this site. All my work has been done at J&M and have very good things to say about their work and will continue to get all my future mods there. They got a dynojet there and its about $100 for 3 or 4 pulls. I actually purchased my SS from them.

Have you ever gone down there and actually talked to them about these supposed horror stories? I have talked to those guys at length about these cars, and again, I did almost buy a car they had modded there that the owner was using as a dd while trying to sell, and that was an 11 sec a4. Most times a shop would'nt stick around as long as those guys have if they did as much wrong as the supposed horror stories would suggest. I have heard stories about most shops, including the one I have my car worked on at, but there was a reason for said horror story. Sometimes you should either dig a little deeper, or go straight to the source before forming an opinion. Also, did any of these horrible things happen to friends of yours, or friends of your friends?
