    Question Computer chips

Hey guys! Being an LT1 owner, I am finding out that there are not many if any tuners out there for my car. If you have any of the LS engines you are lucky. There are so many tuners. I recently did some mods and want to get the computer up to speed. Can anyone recommend a quality company to purchase a custom chip?

your car can most certainly be tuned, so you don't wanna mess with any "chips". There HAVE to be shops near you that tune late model LT1s.

Really??? I guess I haven't found an LT 1 tuner yet. I even contacted LSX and Steve doesn't have the software to tune LT 1s..

Like Frost said, stay away from " Performance Chips", waste of time and money. Keep searching for someone that can tune your lt1.
I know thunderracing can take care of ya.

Good to know. I was considering buying a diablo chip, but could never see the 400.00 price tag ya know? Bty, do you have to take the door panels completly off to get to the front speakers in a 99 Z28? Or do those casings just pop off? Any help is appreciated!

The panels pop off but i dont think you will have enough room to get to the screws that hold the speaker in.

Would that be the same answer for an LS1 regarding chips? Thanks.

LS1s are programmable through tuning, not "chip-able".
