Compression
Whats the compression limit before needing to run a higher octane (higher than 93)??

It's not just compression, it's also tuning. I was at 11:1. I had street tune that I could run 93 octane and I had a second PCM with a race tune that required 100 octane ...

So its possible to have high compression and still run 93 octane with the right tuning? If the car were tuned for the 93 oct would the be substantial benefits if any by running 100 oct??

Pewter- all bore 370 Trans Am
ive seen 11.7-8 on 92 octane...although it didnt have as much timing.
