How far away is the cutout form the O2 sensor?
When was the last time you changed the O2's?
Most likely if your e-cut out is not within a foot of the O2 sensor then code is just coincidence.

are you running headers? Switching and heater codes usually follow header installs. I solved my issues by switching to bosch 13111 sensors.

One more thing that could have happen while welding.
If the O2's were not disconnected while he welded the cut out on it could have caused a short to the wire harness. Not likely but still possible.

yea well i think the welding had something to do with it. I just find it strange that both went as soon as i had the cutout installed. anyway besides insuff. switching i eventually got heater circuit malfunction so i just decided to replace them with bosch o2s. Installed them last night. Going to be nice tomorrow and around 60 so i will take it out and we will see. Hope its just the o2s.

disconnect the battery for 20-30 mins so the codes clear, otherwise the PCM will still run the same (rough) till the codes clear
