    circuit 2 sensor 2?

hey guys, right after I got my car the SEL came on. Don't think it was to much of a coincidence, but I finally got around to throwing a scanner on it and got heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2. I was told this is one of the o2 sensors so I just got 1. I'm bank 2 sensor 2 would be the o2 passenger side after cat. Is this right? Haven't even smogged the car yet because of this.
    This is on a 98 a4 z
    thanks in advance

You're correct...bank 1 is driver side, bank 2 is passenger side - sensor 1 is precat, sensor 2 is post cat.
