    Check engine light flashes

My check engine light flashes. What does that mean? Also the traction control will not come on. It is always off. Any help would be appreciated.

Start off by getting the codes read and let us know what you have...

I have always heard that a FLASHING SES light means a misfire or multiple misfires.. I could be wrong though.

MAF should be the first thing to check IMO. Has it been cleaned lately? If the MAF is dirty, it will trip an SES light.

PO300 - Random multiple cylinder misfire detected.

    PO107 - MAP/Baro circuit low input.

PO113 - IAT sensor 1 circuit high input.

Have you done any work on the car recently? Something that could be related to your problems?

BTW You never mentioned what your vehicle is so, I just ran it as a 2000 LS1 Camaro A4... lol

I agree, the P0300 is the reason the check engine light is flashing, more so than the other two codes.

2000 TransAm. I put an LQ9+3500 stall converter. The car ran great when first started, warmed up, and driven for a few miles. Then it developed a miss. Even at idle.

    Thanks for the help
