    2002 Trans Am WS6

    Question check engine light

    was going to work and my check engine light came on so I took it to my local autozone and they said it was bank one o2 sensor #1 can any one tell me what sensor that is and also should I get a oem o2 sensor or those aftermarket ones work fine

    Bosch makes an 02 that works great in lsx and v6 f-bodies. I can't remember the part # but many on the site go with the Bosch 02's..

    Bank 1 is drivers side, Bank 2 is passenger side. Sensor 1 is precat, Sensor 2 is postcat.

    I'm pretty sure that is going to be the driver side 02 sensor before the cat.

    Lots of people do use the Bosch 10311 (something like that) That is mainly due to the wires from the sensor being long enough you do not need extensions when you install Long Tube Headers.

    If your car is stock then go with whatever one the AutoZone computer comes up with. Aftermarket is fine as far as brand though.
