Catch Can & LS6 VCT update
Well it's been about 6 weeks since I did the LS6 VCt and installed a Catch Can.
I wanted to see how much oil it had caught. I drained it into a cup and was a little surprise by just how much oil I had.
Also Yes I just did an oil change 2 weeks ago.
I have to say this again that this is a worth while mod.

And that is with the LS6 VCT. I hate to see how much it would have caught with the stock PCV.

Actually I get much less with the stock PCV system and just a catch can.
So I'm wondering if that LS6 PCV was even worth while. That's quite a bit of oil for just 6 weeks of driving.
I go 3,000 miles and drain it when I change the oil, and I barely have that much oil in a small aerosol lid with the stock LS1 PCV system.

Its this below
Yes
There is a sticky about this in the tech section
I thought so too but then I realized that since I've done this I've not had to add any oil. I used to have to add about a 1/4 of a quart every 3-4 weeks depending on how hard I drove. Damn low oil light kept coming on. No issues since this mod.

I made my own valley pan mod with a 10-an 90, then made a splash shield for it... I still suck a half quart of oil at the track one day...
