    Catch Can

so here's my issue, i am new to all of this (owned the car for about 2.5 years) but have recently found the pcv issue. i have my first car show on the 26th and want to get this spray issue fixed. sarge, i read you really old post about the catch can set up. if you could, please tell me exactly (all parts i need), what it is that i need to buy and what is the best place to buy it from. i want this to delete all leak by and shitty sprays that occur.

The above shows you some Catch Can stuff.

This shows you the "Convert to LS6 Valley Tray" and has some Catch Can stuff in it.

This is a quick fix if your PCV is crapped out and you want a cheap way to fix it.

Op, I copy/paste my response from another thread that still applies to your problem.

I just did a LS6 Valley tray conversion and installed a catch can to get rid of this PITA issue with the PVC. IMHO the money you would put towards a new PVC hose could be best spent in getting you the LS6 Valley tray and put a good chuck towards a decent catch can and just flat out eliminate this issue.

I will do the quick fix since you have the car show coming up and buy the catch can. Then do the LS6 conversion. I have the catch can only and it does a great job of controlling the oil inside the intake. I'm doing the Ls6 conversion soon.

did the hoses come with it or did you have to buy those seperate and does it do a good job of keeping the oils spray down in the engine bay (nothing drastic, just the lil spray that happens with these valves and lines)

I can't remember but im almost sure i had to buy the hose. If your problem is the PCV tubing/hoses leaking oil replace all the pieces with new rubber hose. I used a brass T fitting to replace the rubber Y that is behind the intake.

No problem. I will also remove the TB and clean all the oil gunk that gets accumulated in the TB and intake.
