Car Wouldnt Take Gas
Let the tank get very low so I could Seafoam it this weekend. I went to Autozone to buy the seafoam, when leaving the parking lot I hit a deep hole on the left rear. Get to the gas station right across the street and put in the seafoam and start to pump the gas. Maybe 15-20 cents worth of gas would go in, then it would stop and start draining back out of the car. Go to another pump, same thing, another gas station, same thing. I then buy a 3 foot piece of 3/8 gas line to put into the nozzle to see if its plugged (dont know how it could have been), and blew into the line and the little gas I just put in, sprayed back out. So I told my fiance about hitting the hole, and maybe it made something stick, so I went back to Autozone and hit the same hole, same left rear tire, went to station again and it let me fill the tank up. Anything happen to anyone else on here??
Sorry its a long story, but I wanted to include all the details.

Most modern cars have an anti drain back valve in the filler line to prevent fuel from spewing out in the case of a roll over etc. Perhaps it got jammed shut when you jarred the suspension, must have been a hell of a hole tho... Dunno, just random thoughts after reading your post.

probably the check valve. You could try whacking the tank with a rubber mallet where the filler neck meets the tank and see if that'd jar it loose. If it were me I'd probably find some stiff wire and try to run it down the filler neck and pop it a few times with that. I didnt' tell you to do that though. Don't want you coming back and saying " I now have a piece of wire stuck in my filler neck. Do that at your own risk. I'd probably try to jar it loose with a mallet if you can get to it.

HAHA. The rubber hose I stuck about a foot down it didnt want to come back also. Didnt think about it getting caught on the litle metal flapper at the top of the neck. My first thought was "how in the fuck do I get this out now???". But a good hard tug on it, and she came out.

It could have been the EVAP vent valve was closed or stuck closed. Did you have the key on? Sometimes that will power up the vent valve and close it.
