Car Stalls, jerks, goes..stalls

Hey everyone, It's honestly been a while since I've posted or even looked on this site...and I don't know why!!! What I have is a 2000 trans Am Ws6 with a bad cold air box. I've wrapped it up in tape and that worked fine for a while, until it all got Soaked in the last bad rain storm. So now that I've peeled all of the sticky tape off, I'm ready to do this the right way! Any suggestions on a kit would be great! Thanks, Howard

I take it you have completely removed your stock air box? Easiest thing would be to reinstall that and then remove the baffles in the hood and cut out the lower portion of the stock air box.

Thanks Bud! I have everything off of the car right now, just seeing what I need to do to move forward with the project. The problem I can foresee right now is the air hose that goes from the cold air box to the intake, it looks a little rough...and by a little I mean a lot! If you have any pics of what you have done i'd appreciate it very much!

I have not cut into ours -- let me see if I can find the thread with pics and instructions. You may be able to salvage your existing setup with Fernco couplers and a section of aluminum pipe.
