    Car runs horribly when wet

If it is wet and/or raining outside, my car runs like total crap. It will repeatedly stumble and bog, and will also try to stall out on me but then rev back up when I give it gas.

Is this a certain part getting wet or what? I'm at a total loss

sounds like your air filter may be getting a little moisture in it. the only problem I have in the rain is my car tends to want to run a little sideways lol.

how many miles are on your plug wires? Might have a couple with small cracks that's letting moisture in also. Just something to check.

All I know is that they are Taylor wires, so they can't be THAT old. And the air filter I have has around 3k on it, never given me problems before

    WIRES WIRES WIRES.

    i bet $5.oo

heres the test, somewhere dark, open the hood, engine running. and use a spray bottle on mist setting and spray all the wires (1 at a time) you will hear/feel the engine stumble and more than likely visually see the spark arching to the water.

i ran into the same problem and was wires, even if its something else like 1 of the coils, spray all that stuff with the mist and you should find the arching.

Will be testing this soon, sorry I'm busy with school.

Could this have anything to do with the car stalling and surging RPM's as well? Especially when the air conditioning is on
