Car oil gauge is Jacked up after LS6 install
Hi everyone,
I finished my ls6 intake manifold install last night and for some reason my oil pressure gauge is slammed to the right now. I have turned off the car several times and unplugged the battery hoping to reset it... no luck.
This ever happen to anyone?? How do I fix it?
Thanks,

If a guage is all the way to max that indicates a short. All the way to the left is a sending unit.
This is my signature. It is mine. Nobody else has one like it.

Double check the sending unit connection to be sure it's plugged in all the way.

Ill make sure to check the sending unit...
Any reason the therm gauge would be acting up and going past right above normal operating level and setting the fans to go off??

It's normal for high speed fans to come on when even with the "dummy" gauge if if goes a little past 210 - temp should go back down shortly afterwards. If by acting up you mean you're getting erratic temps even on a cold start maybe the ECT sensor connector got knocked during the intake install.
