car bogs at mid throttle w/detonation
So Ive had this problem for a while now and havent found an answer yet. The thing is, the car runs PERFECT when its cold but as soon as it goes into closed loop whenever I put part throttle on it bogs and detonates like crazy, but if I floor it it goes WOT and runs hard.
Ive done plugs, fuel pump, wires and the cats are only a few months old. Ive found this problem on other posts but not a one has an answer its very strange. Any help?

hmm thats kinda tricky have you ever checked out what your A/F ratio is? if thats too far out of wack that could casue detonation.

something you can check is the coolant temp sensor in the driver side head above spark plug #1. Noticed anything funny with the temp gauge in the car? Any access to a logger so you can see what the coolant temp is?

the gauge seems to react steady, I had the car tuned for a 160 thermostat. and put one in. What runs on cold start up that stops when its warm? An 02 sensor was just replaced but I think all this is emmision related. My next step is to throw house cat teeth and kill a rooster
