    can you chrome brake calipers

    Can you chrome brake calipers, and if you can around how much would it be?

    Of course it COULD be done - but it's not a good idea. Polishing brake components is fine but no brake component (i.e. caliper, caliper mounting bracket) should ever be chromed.

    To put in simple terms:

    During the chroming process the metal will experience 'hydrogen embrittlement' this will weaken the metal and could lead to catastrophic failure of a brake component.

    Not worth the xtra bling when you're sitting buried up to your lap with an SUV that you just rear ended because one of your brake components failed

    Paint or polish

    So How much would it be to Polish them?

    I've seen sponsors offer the service of polishing them for 200 for all 4 to be polished. I did mine myself for 20 dollars including supplys. The plus of doing them yourself is that you dont even need to remove them from the car and theres very little downtime for your car.

    That looks really nice, tell me about the camaro lettering, like how and when to put it on, where did you get it? u know stuff that will help me when I do it.
