    can I use a zo6 throttle body?

    When the shop did my swap from ls1 to ls6 they put my stock throttle body on, question is can I use the zo6 throttle body that came with the crate ls6? If I can, would it help any?
    LS6 Engine swap, Custom Predator Tune, Lid, SLP Cold Air, Ram Air H.O. Hood, Hooker Long Tubes, !Cats, 3" True Duals w/Dynomax Bullets, Performabuilt stage 2 w/3600 stall, B&M Trans. Cooler, Moser 12 Bolt w/ 3.73's

    parts 5300, labor around 1k I think. cant remember exactly. So no gains whatsoever? design looks way diff

    Wow, steep.

    I 'believe' the ZO6 MAF is de-screened from the factory. Could be wrong. If it is, that is the probably the major difference your seeing. Not going to see any major gains.

    No, you cant use the ls6 tb, because its fly by wire. Your car needs a cable operated tb. Just get the stocker ported and polished or get an after market one.

    Also, your right Hi-Po. The z06 maf is a descreened 85mm unit.

    Haha, no problem. Im sure you could sell it quick on the vette section or a corvette specific forum. People are always looking for spare stock units to port and polish, just in case they mess up.

    which motor is the ls6.....that 6.0 liter in the earlier c6 vettes???or that 6.2 N/A....or something different

    it's a 346 just like the LS1
