black- 1998 Camaro SS
can i fix an electrical connector?
on my 98 ss im doin head/cam/header swap. the wiring harness that goes like on the valve cover that one that connects all the fuel injectors well there was a purple wire going from inside of fender to that harness and i didnt notice it but when i put the header up through there it pull the purple wire out of the connector. is there anyway i can fix that or am i screwed and have to buy all new harness. the wire went to the big white plug in the middle of the harness. any suggestions

Should be able to re-crimp the wire or even use a butt connector. If you want to use the weather tight connecter you may have to purchase a new one. There only a few bucks at your local parts store or junk yard.

do you know what that connector is called? its the bigger white connector that is in the middle of the harness. the wire that broke was the purple one and it was the only wire that when across from the fender to the connector. im gonna try just to get it back in there and maybe crimp it a little bit so it will stay.
