can gaskets be re-used?

I know that gaskest like head gaskets and exhaust gaskets cant be reused but can valve cover and intake gaskets be used if they appear to be in good conditon?

I believe so...but its probably good practice to replace them

Valve covers, intake, throttle body, header gaskets and some MLS head gaskets can be reused multiple times. Inspection for pinched O rings and rubber seals needs to done. Also need to look for burnt looking rubber or dry rotting. All stock gaskets should be replaced once if your doing a hardcore build just to save you some time and money later. My throttle body gasket was like brand new when I removed it to PP it.

I did my header swap and have had them off and afew times and still using the stock MLS exhaust gaskets.
its not a bad idea if you reuse waterpump and front cover gasket to add a very light coat of rtv......ive never had a leak in this motor and the only gaskets I've replaced were the head gaskets when I did my head swap
