Camro Ss spoiler questions

It just arrived this afternoon..

6 of this plastic stripes or belts , I dont know ..came with it , what are they??

Question #2
Do i have to drill my car for this 2 holes?? The center ones, or just leave the tape/cushion that includes?

1: They go between the spoiler and car. They are sort of spacers/shims/Gaskets.

2. Spacers for the 2 posts to make sure they don't scratch the car.

3. New screws to install the spoiler. Plus caps to hide the screws. Some of those are also for attaching the led to the spoiler.

On my Z28 I out An ss wing I did not drilled the center part.
With one on each side is enough.

So the black plastics are shims to get straight gap from lid/car to spoiler?

1st firment test..

Everything is fine , nice fit the only weird looking gap is in the center pillars it is a huge gap even with the tape/cushion it comes with..
Do I mod this?

put the mounting screw in the spoiler all the way in and then put some white out or a small dash of paint on the head of the screw to mark were you need to drill the holes to secure the fitment of the spoiler.

With those aftermarket spoilers, you are going to have a small gap on those center supports. They just don't fit quite like the OEM.

With a little manipulating and adjusting, you'll get most of that gap out of the center supports, but they don't fit perfect.
