    Camaro SS Grille Replacement

    Looking to swap out my front grille. Any quick tips for the removal. The info sheet I got from SLP suggests removing the whole front facia. I'm sure there must be a quicker way. Any others replaced one recently??

    Well, when I got a billet grille for my car a few years ago I just pulled it off. Started with each side, then bottom, then top. Only took a few seconds and had no damage. Just my experience.

    Upholstery Remover

    I used a Upholstery Remover from Advance Auto ($6.24). It will remove most if not all the button fasteners without damaging the surrounding area by yanking.

    If you have a nice thin screwdriver, you can reach in from the front and work the top clips off by sliding the blade in on each side of the pin to work them off, the bottoms can be reached from underneath after you undo the lower edge of the facia. Otherwise a few quick tugs and it comes off but you make asnap the pins on the original grille.
