I think you'll have to call SLP to get build number information. But I'm not sure if that only applys to the SLP optioned cars or not.
Any more information than that and I believe you'll have to buy the SLP packet.

FBJ is correct. Call SLP and ask. They will need your VIN number. 732.349.2109 is their number.

For the 35th Special Anniversary Editions model cars like mine and the CETA's, you have to call GM to know what number they were out of just the special edition models made.

You can buy a birth certificate for your car. This is what FBJ is talking about.

It is like $60. I have one. It's pretty worthless IMO...but I like shitting money away

I am not frugal when it comes to my car. The BC is actually neat. I bought a frame for mine and it gives information like where the car was made, what day, how much it weighed, the build number, etc.

I despise SLP, but I now have the BC and line lock from them that I use. The MAF and smooth bellows are sitting in a plastic bag in a closet.

Buy the certificate from SLP. I'm the second owner after GM. It had 5 or so miles on it when I got it
