Camaro ls1 transplant

Hello , I got a question ? I got an engine tuned with hp tuners with is computer from a 2002 ss camaro and I want to transplant this engine in a 2000 ss camaro.The only thing that I remove from the 2000 is the engine and the t56. Will it start?? What do I need to do if it does'nt ?? (the two cars are m6)

i'm pretty shure it will work u can switch and swap the ls1's around pretty freely but i will not swear it will work good luck!!

i am assuming you have an 02 ls1 as the engine going into a 00 camaro. the 02 setup will go into the 00 fine. the only difference on the outside of the engine is the ls6 intake and egr system. some internal differences but it will hook up to the 00 w/o problems.
