    2002 Camaro

    Camaro

    I have a 2002 Camaro that will not pass the Emissions test.. I keep getting an EVAP "Not Ready" and a Cat "Not ready" I just replaced the cat for the 3rd time about 2 weeks ago.. I also had to replace my fuel pump.. Noone seems to be able to find out why.. Oh, technician did the diag (including smoke) replace a valve switch.. Still no go...

    did you use a stock cat or aftermarket?
    Are you throwing any codes?
    If your not throwing any codes and you have a stock cat on there, one thing you can try is drive the car for about 30 minutes at highway speeds then try to get it inspected, iv had to do that for a few customer cars, just get them up to temp and give the computer a chance to cycle...

    Actually this is my 3rd after market cat... (420) the other is the evap (440) cannot figure that out but I did have my fuel pump replaced.
