    CA smog parts

    Ok Here is my question guys Im trying to buy used cats off craigslist now. will cats And y-pipe from a 99 camaro fit a 99 trans am? Or any 98-02 year camaro Y-pipe and cats fit my 99 trans am and my car is from Kansas and now in Cali is there any other smog stuff that is added to Ca cars Ie. Smog pump of any other emmisions parts differnt ? Hope I made sense right now lol thanks

    If your car has the A.I.R. system already installed, I think you should be OK. Also, I believe the F-Body exhausts are interchangeable. Just be careful with buying used emissions components.

    98-99 used the same exhaust manifolds, cats and y pipe.
    2000 - 2002 used a different manifold, cats, and y-pipe.
    You should be ok with 99 camaro cats

    Cutlass hit it. the newer cars use different manifolds and cats.
    And like everyone else said.
    Be very careful of used emissions parts.
