C5 Ls1 into 01 SS?

So recently I had a piston blow a hole in my bottom end, I have been looking for replacements for a while and I've been seeing a lot of C5 Ls1 engines for sale but not a lot of Camaro Ls1's for sale. This may seem like a stupid question but is a C5 Ls1 a direct swap in the Camaros? If not what would need to change or be modified for it to work?

I'm pretty sure it is, only differences are oil pan and accessories. C5 ls1 are usually a bit better on power too.
