A/C help needed!
Replaced my high pressure tube due to a leak last year, so A/C system was "open". Since then my system has been charged with oil and refrigerant and also with dye (added after the system I thought lost refrigerant) to 35 on the gauge. My new car is running 35 on the gauge but is 18 degrees cooler than the T/A. There is no condensation on the lines or water dripping on the ground.
Is it possible that since the A/C system was open when I replaced the line that I need to purge and start over?
Car has 119k miles on it and has had no problems other than replacing that line.
I did hear the compressor kick in only once when I added 18 oz 134 and gauge read 35-37.
