    A/C condensor wont turn off

Hey guys Im trying to track down why my a/c condensor keeps running, even though I have the air turned off in the cabin. The reason I ask is because when I lift the hood I see condensation on the pump and ac lines, and the pump is ice cold. Let me know if this does not make sense.

    thanks

I'm not real familiar with hvac stuff but are you sure it's not the clutch on the a/c itself? When you turn the a/c on and off do you hear the clutch kicking in and out?

I didn't read the whole thread but do you mean the compressor? The condensor looks like a little radiator...and is in front of the coolant radiator. The condensor just changes the freon from a gas back into a liquid...can't turn it on or off.

Is the clutch(triangle looking thing on the compressor) always engaged? The compressor cycles on and off when the defroster is on also...just FYI. If the compressor is actually on all the time you probably have a short somewhere or it could be the switch itself.
