burnouts
why wont my car leave 2 black burnout marks? it has the posi traction? is this something i should have looked at?

look on your drivers side door at the RPO codes..look for G80..that is positraction, if G80 is not there then you do not have Posi...but im pretty sure you do

You could have an internal problem with your rear end.

ls1's dont come without posi, do they? im also gonna guess u got someting wrong inside your rearend.

it will leave a very light mark on the drivers side,but really black on the passenger side.

ive jacked the car up and turned the rear wheel and it feels ok, the driveshaft turns

It is either an Auburn or a Torsen. The Torsen will lay 2 strips. If it doesn't, it is broken and you will know it.
The Auburns are know to leay one leggers when they are worn out.

Check the RPO codes. If it is in fact Posi-equipped, change the fluid in the rear end and make sure they put in the friction additive. If that doesnt fix it then you have a problem with the rear end. HTH.....
