    Broken Motor : (

Well my motor is broken and now I have to take it out, what gets me down is that it will be a easy 15 min job to fix it but theres no way i can do it in the car. I have to pull the whole motor out, so I was thinking of just building a 383. I'm sure this has been beat to death but, for you guys with the LS1 383 Stoker, would you guys mind what HP and Torque your cars are making N/A cam spects ect. I am leaning toward this route as of now. Thanks!

I have about 4500 that I want to spend on it. Ive been looking hard for a 6.2L with the L92 heads, I plan on using all the rest of the parts from my current motor, Cam, Springs ect. I know it will be about 5k so as long as i don't go over that i'm good.

My current motor is broken from where that starter bolts up on the outside bolt goes ( the Ear of the block), I can push start the car and it's fine but....I guess I could park on a hill all the time lol. I am going to pull the motor and fix it but I'm sorta using this as an excuse to go big, if you know what i mean.

Na I hadn't seen it but yea that's what mine looks like. My battery wasn't weak but my old starter locked up, and my battery was fine. It wasn't weak like the other guy stated. Well I'm looking for a L92 motor now I thinkthat will be my next motor, if I can find one

Have you thought about having the ear welded back onto the block? If funds aren't allowing for a bigger build, why not try to save that motor and build up your money stash for your build?

Yea I have thought about it, it's not that I don't have the money I want to build it but I'm being a tight ass I guess but I think I have made up my mind to do it anyway. I was just debating myself, but I love cars and I want a good build so...
