    brake rotors

So I put new rotors on and I didn't re
alize that they had to be on a specific side until after I was done. Yes I know I'm a idiot. My question is does it really make a difference and if so how do I know which one goes on which side

I may be wrong but I believe that it doesn’t matter unless the fan type vents in them are slanted to catch and disperse more air. If they are just straight I don’t think it matters which way you put em on.

Im not sure. you should as the manufacture of the rotors. I have slotted/drilled with a fan style pattern and the boxes were mark in which side the rotors go. If in doubt spend the extra time and have peace of mind.

My drilled/slotted did not have sides so I just made sure all were facing the same direction, as stated above it is the vanes inside that would make them directional and not the slots or holes on the face.

Yes this is a hairy topic. I too was flipping out at first after I installed some.

From all my research there are very few that are specific and they will clearly mark them as left/right driver/passenger like said above.

My Baer Eradaspeed rotors were side specific and had "L" & "R" stickers on each rotor.

If an aveo beat up your pick-up there's something wrong
Did you call the company and ask them if the rotors you bought are side specific? It's potentially a lot less work than going through all the work to take the calipers back off.
