Brake Light

So the other day I go out to my car and fire her up to run to the store. My E Brake light stays lit up. I dont think nothing of it, I pull on the ebrake put it back down, still the light stays on. So I shut her down and restart and the light doesnt stay on. Problem solved..haha....fast forward to today.....autostart the car and get in to go to work....ebrake light is on again...and stays on the whole 45 miles to work. I tried at different red lights to shut it down and restart, but after the cluster of lights goes out, the ebrake one stayed on?? Any suggestions?

Check it for codes. could be ur master cylinder low on fluid, could be a parking brake switch that is shorting

check the parking brake switch if you brake fuild level is normal. Mine needed some cleaning and it was fine after that.

Yep its usually the parking brake switch or the brake fluid level switch
