Borla Exhaust variations- question
ok this is gonna sound like the dumbest question ever. i just got borla exhaust on my car, and i was wondering if there's a difference between the style with two pipes coming out of the muffler on the driver's side, and the style with only one pipe coming out. it's the non adjustable. Is there any difference in sound?

I would say...yes. I have the adjustable one. I can hear a difference between the 2 tailpipes if you stand right near them. The non adjustable routes all the exhaust through the muffler and the adjustable routes some through the muffler and some straight out the tailpipe.
The sound would certainly be different.

ok let me ask this in another way. the two exhausts systems there are both adjustable. I have the adjustable one. If you look at those two systems, one has one pipe coming out towards the driver's side, and the other one has two pipes coming out of the muffler

ah ok I see the difference. Looks like I was replying as you were updating with those links. I didn't even know that second one you posted existed.
I would think they'd have to sound a little different but...I don't know.

I don't think there would be much difference. One side goes through muffler and the other doesn't. Two pipes exiting may give slightly better flow? Never seen that style before.
I have the first style. Don't particularly like the sound myself. It was already on the car, so, not about to replace it. I prefer magnaflow.
Just personal preference.
