a book for ls1

I am looking for a book on ls1 motors, something thats has specs, or just basics on the ls1, any ideas?

go to amazon and look for 2 authors. Will Handzel (How to Build High-Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 V-8s)and Chris Endres(Chevy LS1/LS6 Performance: High Performance Modifications for Street and Racing). Both have pretty decent books. I think they were competing to see who could have the longest name for a book.

That's why I said the authors but ended up searching them and copying and pasting them in.

Go onto Ebay or amazon and look for the actual GM Fbody factory manual. If you have a 98 - 99 either will do. 00 and up look for anything for those years. I have a 98 and a 99 shop manual.

I got both of these books, and man I cant tell you how much good info is in these books. I just want to thank you guys for the info and how to get these books....
