    bodyman, not a mechanic

    hello ls1 world, i am a new member in hopes of trying to learn more about my ls1, i was hoping someone can tell me what i can do to upgrade my performance on my 2002 trans am, i have done small mods but i am looking for more, i want to buy a performance chip or ? but there is so many on the market i want to get the correct one the first time, i own a bodyshop but dont know much about the aftermarket world on mods for the ls1, hoping someone can steer me in the right direction, i do apreciate the help, and i am glad to be a member

    I don't think chips are used much anymore. Having a performance tune aids better in efficiency and gains in horsepower. We have some resident tuners Frost and Tampa Tuning who can assist with your goals for your bird. All you have to do is tell them your mods and they can go from there. Welcome aboard.

    a4 i just contacted frost and let him know what i want, hopefully he can hook me up as a mail order, i do apreciate the help, i am learning the techs on the mechanics, i just dont want to do things that is a waste of money and time or do to much out of sequence and #*%@ everything up
