Bilstein vs. SLP Bilstein???
I was shopping for new Bilstein shocks for my '01 formula (has Eibach Pro-series lowering springs). SLP has a set of 4 that they say are built to their spec. Allshocks.com have Bilsteins as well, but they are $21.00 cheaper than SLP because shipping is free. The model #s are not the same, but I think that every store has their own # for the same parts. Does anyone know if in fact the SLP's are better, or should I save the $20 and buy from Allshocks.com?

Go Koni.
Otherwise those shocks won't keep up.
If you must get them....I am sure SLP does nothing but jack up the price. That is what SLP does best.

the slp combo doesnt drop the car nearly enough. my buddy did it and he hates it cuz mine has a much nicer stance with the regular bilsteins.
i like mine and you cant beat the price of the bilsteins. but i dont have experience with koni's, but ive heard nothing but good.

I already have the eibach pro series springs on the car. I just need to replace the cheap old shocks with better ones more suited for the springs, & I don't want to spend a fortune on them.

i heard that there are new bilsteins and old bilsteins. the old ones are the shocks everyone likes and they were the the option for our cars, and the new ones don't really compare.
