    Which is a better manual.......?

    Which is a better repair/service manual...the Haynes or Chilton?

    The best one is the Helms.

    But of the two you've listed, it doesn't matter as they are pretty much the same.


    From Hayes and Chilton-procedure for engine exchange:
    1. Disconnect battery.
    2. Remove engine.
    3. Install new engine.
    4. Reconnect battery.
