Best Seats for 1995 Trans Am

As I am starting to get towards retirement age (10 more years) planning on taking my wife and 95 Trans Am and go hit the blue highways. However, the TA has the stock low-back clothe seats. What replacement seats are best to spend several hours a day in? My wife had her hip replaced and I'm looking at a new knee so need something that is more off the floor then the stock seats.

Also, is clothe better vs. leather for the long haul when you like to drive with the T-Tops off?

Well, leather is an oven during the summer and a refrigerator during the winter. There are companies like Recaro and Sparco that manufacture seats in both leather and cloth. However, if you have power seats, and want to keep the power seats, options become rather limited unless you fab up brackets or research other GM vehicles with better seats and you wish to retrofit them into your car. Others will chime in. I know for my car, I leave my windows cracked a little during the summer as well as run the A/C a little while after starting my car to cool off the seats. During the winter, I run the car with the heat on while the car is warming up.
