    Exclamation Battery Dead..can't start

Hey guys, I left my lights on last night and now my battery is dead. I'm away from my car and it seemed that when I tried to start it while getting a jump it went into a security mode or something. I was wondering if you have to do something after the battery is disconnected to get it started again?

    Thanks

While the battery is recharging, take your fob and lock and unlock your doors and see if the car will start. Also, do you have anything plugged into the cigarette lighter? If you do, take that out as it will be another parasitic draw on the battery/electrical system. Keep us posted.

Is there a procedure to do before I try to start the car?

I got it started off a jump from a beast of a car.(97 camry with 317k). It's now sitting on a car charger, it read 12.6 volts. Just gonna keep her plugged in till it hits the magic number. Thanks for the suggestions and the fast responses. This was the only forum to even have anybody respond...gotta love the this forum. Thanks again guys ::thumbsup::
