i dont know if its bad for ur car but. i learn that alot of the times i go 20 or 30 mph then hit it i spin left to right. but if i car my car to 2nd gear 3-4k rpm then hit it to 5500. i dont spin. why? and im a 01 trans am A4.

I dont think I am understanding what your asking. Are you asking why your car spins in first gear and not second?

If you are asking why it spins in the lower RPMs and not the higher, its because you shock the driveline by pouring the rpms to it, and once the tires break loose the RPMS jump up and spin the tires, when you are high in the rpms you are at the top of the power band, and theres not enough there to break the tires, as you are high in the rpms and the car is at a higher wheel speed,,,,If I am understanding your question..
